The heuristics bias
This is the tendency to rely on mental shortcuts or rules of thumb to make judgments or decisions, rather than on systematic or logical thinking. For example, if we are evaluating a candidate's performance in an interview, we may be more likely to use a checklist or a scoring system to assess their answers, rather than to consider their content, depth, or relevance. The heuristics bias can cause us to make oversimplified or automatic hiring decisions, and it can lead us to overlook the value of creativity, flexibility, or insight in the hiring process.
