This role reports to the Director of Clinical Quality and works closely with the Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Data Management teams.

The Senior Clinical Quality Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the quality management system and clinical quality assurance program in support of Biogen’s mission, values, and goals. The Senior Clinical Quality Manager provides leadership and direction to assigned staff and quality initiatives. This role is also responsible for ensuring that GCP compliance risks are appropriately identified and managed.Key Responsibilities• Develop, implement and maintain the quality management system and clinical quality assurance program in support of Biogen’s mission, values, and goals.• Provide leadership and direction to assigned staff and quality initiatives.• Ensure that GCP compliance risks are appropriately identified and managed.• Serve as a subject matter expert on GCP compliance issues.• Conduct audits of clinical studies, sites, contractors, and vendors in order to assess compliance with GCPs, ICH Guidelines, and local regulations.• Review clinical study protocols and amendments to ensure alignment with ICH Guidelines and local regulations.• Monitor clinical studies for GCP compliance issues and take appropriate corrective and preventive actions when necessary.• Ensure that clinical study data is complete, accurate, and verifiable.• Participate in the development and review of SOPs, WIs, policies, and procedures related to clinical quality assurance.• Serve as a liaison between Biogen and external audit agencies.• Conduct training on GCPs, ICH Guidelines, and local regulations as needed.
